Interesting article about an interesting woman who lived in a fascinating era of English history. I must confess that though I like Alba better than England of that era, I do like the Anglo-Saxon side of the marches also X).
But the archetypal wicked stepmother is an intereresting archetype one that has such a long history and that is worth further study.
