As another millennial and most likely descendent of the Vikings (Swedes as far back as the family tree can see), I definitely agree that women of the past are incredibly inspirational and brought with them much more power and influence than what they often get credit for in the modern mainstream “poor women” narrative.

I’m glad you enjoyed the review! I’m hoping to do some academic research into some earlier women: the early Anglo-Saxon era was a really unique time in which royal and religious women in particular enjoyed status and authority alongside their male peers- but this story so often doesn’t get told 🥰
