Thank you for taking the time for the video, and it makes such a refreshing change to hear of a Book Club where we can take our time. Yes, there are some titles we dive into and never come up for air, but they are few and far between for me (The Book Thief being one which comes to mind) so to know we've got autumn into winter to enjoy the whole of this first book means I'm actively looking forward to it. Shall make a pleasant change of scene from my own novel's research which is recent history (1952-1956). I've ordered Amy Jeffs' paperback of Storyland while I've been typing here. (And I haven't forgotten to reply to your google document, the link for which you emailed me last week - I've been juggling elderlies and hospital visits and am behind with my admin!!) xx
